Stiklestad Church

We arrived at Stiklestad,

parked in the lot and

had a look

around the grounds

while Kjell went

to get the guide

who would lead us

inside the church.






I was amazed

at the development

of this Cultural Center

since my first visit here

thirteen years ago

in the Fall of 1995.










We proceeded

across the street

to the church

where Grandma Lena

had celebrated milestones

early in her life.








We
looked
back

and

up

at
the
steeple,








noticed

the

ancient

masonry

work,







and

the

tools

of

repair

as

we

waited




at the back door of the Stiklestad Church.
